These facts make me believe that the ultimate predator, during the time the dinosaurs roamed the earth, were not the huge intimating ones, but the small and agile ones. The tyrannosaurus Rex was estimated to be about 15 feet high, 40 feet long, and weighing in about 6 tons. As you can see the tyrannosaurus rex was huge. Actually they were one of the biggest carnivores to walk the earth. But were they even carnivores? â€Å"Paleontologist Jack Horner of the Museum of the Rockies (Bozeman, MT) has proposed that T.rex could not have been a predator.† It is evident in most of the fossil remains of the tyrannosaurus rex, that it was not built to chase down its prey.
